  • A Burmese Chin Totem originating from Naga Tribes settled in regions that now fall within Myanmar, Chin State is located in the southern part of northwestern Myanmar. The term “Naga” refers to the ethnic tribal people who live in the tri-junction of India, China and Myanmar. The Totem Poles represent hierarchies within the tribes, and each animal and human motif depicted conveys their place and power within the world. This is a rare object almost impossible to come by today.
