A nice pottery lead glazed farm house with pig (pigsty) from the han dynasty

- Period: Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220 AD)
- Material: Terracotta, iridescent green lead glazed on low fired pottery
- Size overall: 28 x 23 x 17 cm
- Size pig: 2.5 x 6 cm
- A very nice pigsty with steps leading to a small barn including a small pig.
- On the rim there is still 2 of the kiln supports visible. Overall some small damages and a crack from the firing but other than that a beautifull piece.
- Mingqi green lead glazed earthenware models such as this pig farm (Pigsty) were made for use in the afterlife and were placed in the tombs of wealthy Farmers and Land Owners to accompany them into the next world.
