Barasaurus besairiei reptile fossil, positive and negative from Madagascar

• Size: 19.5 x 7 cm each
• Weight: 570 gram total
• Barasaurus with the head preserved are very rare. Here is a one in a nodule, all natural and unrestored specimen. The nodule has been broken by splitting it and is rejoined which is very normal. 
• Barasaurus besariei was first described in 1955 and classified as a fully distinct species in 2004. 
• They were predominantly terrestrial reptiles and probably ate mostly insects and craustaceans.
