- Weight: 4,948 gram total
- Complete Barasaurus with the head preserved are very rare. Here is a beautifull, all natural and unrestored specimen with preserved gastoliths.
- Gastoliths are grinding stones which are often found in the stomachs of these animals.
- Barasaurus besariei was first described in 1955 and classified as a fully distinct species in 2004.
- They were predominantly terrestrial reptiles and probably ate mostly insects and craustaceans.
