Chinese temple Buddha statue from wood of the Qing Dynasty

• At the back there is a hole and still could contain a cotton wrapped package.
• The package contains mostly the following:
  • a piece of paper with a message, prayer, request.
  • some rice for food.
  • some herbs for good health.
  • some cotton for clothing.
• These statues weer offered or placed at the temple of the giver and writer of the message.
