Exceptional large Dovilliceiveras ammonite fossil from Madagascar

- Size: 35 x 28 x 19 cm (43 cm incl. custom made stand)
- Weight: 18 kg
- There is also a small ammonite on one side.
- The mounth of this ammonite is very nicely drilled out and polished which is costing a lot of time.
- This size of ammonite is very rare and very decorative.
- Comes with stand.
- Ammonites appeared around 380 million years ago in the Devonian and died out with the Dinosaurs during the Cretaceous-Tertiary crisis 65 million years ago.
