Impressive Thai wooden stupa/ancestor pole from the Isan province, around 19th century

• The pole if very nicely eroded and the part that was in the ground is clearly recognizable as the erosion had a diffirent effect on the wood than the top part above the ground were the rain had it's effect.
• Information and images are found in the book "The soul of Isan wood carving", pictures of these pages out of the book are included.
