Pottery horseshoe Back chair model from the Ming Dynasty

- These model chairs are very rare.
- The armrests are nice bended and the backsplat decorated with a flower.
- It is of good quality except some calcification and one small part broken off due to the kiln most probably.
- Such chairs were commonly used as appropriate seats for important people.
- Mingqi pottery: this piece is an example of the Mingqi objects made specifically for burial, to be taken to the afterlife.
