Steele sculpture of Hindy God in volcanic stone from Java Indonesia, 14th century

• This is probably the Hindu God Shiva or Vishnu in standing position with some nice details on the apron and necklace, leaning with the left hand downwards and right hand holding up an object which could be a bow.
• Statues like this are quite rare and not often found.
• This statue comes out an old Dutch collection.
