  • Size full set: 56 x 95 x 85 cm.
  • Comes with complete acrylic custom made show case of 123 x 75 x 70 cm.
  • These statues are very nicely preserved and the cloud motif drawings are clearly shown.
  • It is very rare to find wooden items from the Han Dynasty and a complete set like this I have never come accross anyware. I was very excited to be able to get this set in my possession.
  • The horses have a very pronounced cartoonlike figure. They are of 8 parts, body, 4 legs, tail, neck and the head. I like the set better without the gear consisting of 5 pieces to be placed on the horses.
  • The carriage consists of 3 walls with 2 windows and at the back 2 doors, standing on the bottom plate showing still very nice colored cloud motifs. The roof is nicely carved, white pigments and on the top flat part motifs of clouds with a round ornament.
  • The 2 figures are also nice pieces of art in nice shapes of clothing and colored pigments and sitting on, what could be, pillows. The big figure has long sleeves and therefore the hands are not shown but the smaller figures has relatively large hands.
  • One horse has a C14 test from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands showing that 2 wooden parts are around 2000 years of age.
  • Comes out of an old Dutch collection.
  • 汉代木马带车
